In the Truth About Six Pack Abs book, the difference you will notice is that unlike many other fat loss routines that give you half an hour workout for your abs alone, Mike has designed powerful CORE training routines that take you no more than 8-12 minutes of your total workout. And this Ab training should be done after your total body workout.
According to the Truth About Six Pack Abs book, strength training is important to get rid of body fat, although it shows equal focus on diet and nutrition. Diet and nutrition plays a major role in fat loss. Mike claims that 80% of fat loss is powered by diet and nutrition. If you follow a proper diet plan (eating 6 meals a day with lean protein and fiber in every meal), you will accelerate your metabolic rate to peak level all day long.
You can find these same tips for free on the internet, but the main difference is that Mike goes to the extent of showing how to get even leaner by eating special fats and dairy products which according to popular legends is supposed to make you FAT!
Unfortunately, I found certain stuff that was missing from The Truth About Six Pack Abs book. There are certain workout tips that can make a difference in your fat loss like the speed of repetitions, proper stretching, and examples of post workout and pre workout meals. These were nowhere to be found in the book.
Although these factors were missing, the Truth About Six Pack Abs has proven to work successfully with over 1000’s of happy customers and to be honest; the information in the back is more than enough to get you going in to accelerated fat loss mode.
